Racine – Betty J. Boquist, 87, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints on Friday, November 25, 2011.Betty was born in Milwaukee on September 29, 1924 to John and Elizabet (nee, Ujwari) Krimmer. She loved gardening, canning, making jelly, fishing, and going to auctions. She belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary, Midway Garden Club and Homemakers Club before moving to Racine in 2005.Mother of Patricia (Edward) Proska; Grandmother of Renee Mysliwy, April (Ray) Wiggins, Mary (Rich) Johnson, Susan (Dan) Blaski, and Laura Proska; Great-Grandmother of Katie, Marie and Sean Stillmank, Christopher Mysliwy; Alex, Zachary, and JoHannah Wiggins; Austin, Wyatt, and Isabella Blaski. Preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Eva Kunkel and Catherine Persitza; brother, John Krimmer; her first husband, Ray Wendorf; second husband, Carl Boquist, and her daughter Christine Frohna. Funeral services for Betty will be held at funeral home on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Stephen Jennings officiating. Interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 4 until 7 p.m.
