Bette Lou StoneburnerRacine- Bette Lou Stoneburner, 75, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare on Saturday, April 7, 2007.Bette Lou was born in Dunn County, WI on July 6, 1931 to Glenn and Ragna (nee: Amundson) Doughty. She worked as an Office Manager at many area businesses throughout the years. Bette Lou enjoyed traveling and loved to read.She is survived by her daughter Glenda (Ron Krizan) Pollock; grandchildren, James, Scott, and Robert Martinsen; sisters, June Weier and Gladys Nelson; and her lifelong friend, Lois Martin. Bette Lou is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Jerome Doughty and sister, Alice Tubbs.Funeral services for Bette Lou will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Donald A. Johnson officiating. Private family interment will take place in Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 4:00 until the time of services.The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at Harmony Assisted Living, the staff at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare, and the staff of Wheaton Franciscan Hospice for all of their wonderful care.
