Racine – Barry "Bones" Bauman, 60, passed away at Woodstock Health & Rehabilitation Center in Kenosha on Friday, November 26, 2010 after a nine month struggle with cancer. Bones was born in Racine on November 26, 1950 to Kenneth and Jean (nee, Barrows) Bauman. Survivors include his children, Reid Bauman, Blake Bauman and Nash Bauman; twin sister, Mary (Jay) Gatzke; sister Lynn (Ron) Johnson; niece and nephews, Kelly (Kelly) Stanek, Christopher (Kristy) Johnson and Eric (Heidi) Johnson. Bones is also survived by other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and niece, Kristy Gatzke. In keeping with Bones' wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation will take place. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Wheaton Franciscan Cancer Center for all of their friendship, care and compassion shown to Bones over the past nine months.
