Barbara A. Wolverton, 71, passed away at St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee on Saturday, June 16, 2018. Barb was born in Paragould, Arkansas on January 13, 1947 to James and Mildred (nee, Russom) Roberts. On February 10, 1973, she married William A. Wolverton. He preceded her in death on April 17, 2009. Barb had a passion for crafting and was active in Awana. Most of all Barb loved spending time with her family. Survivors include her children, Michael (Kimberly) Wolverton, Kendra (Mark) Elmer and Karla (Andrew Krebs) Wolverton; grandchildren, Hope, Zachary and Cassidy Wolverton, Caleb, Autumn, Bailey, Abigail, Aurora and Josiah Elmer, Kaylee, Austin and Brandon Plos, and Mason Krebs; great grandchildren, Charlotte and Kennedy; her brother, Jerry (Pricilla) Roberts; and nieces and nephew, Wayne Roberts, Teresa Roberts and Jeanette Stoltenberg. Barb is also survived by other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Barb will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove. Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family on Wednesday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to a charity of one's choice.
