Racine- Barbara J. Nommensen, 75, passed away at Ascension Healthcare-All Saints on Tuesday, November 21, 2017.Barb was born in Racine on October 12, 1942 to David and Natalie Mueller. She married Robert Nommensen at St. John's Lutheran Church in 1963. She was a longtime member of St. John's Lutheran Church and spent many years volunteering at Lutheran High Thrift shop. Barb enjoyed watching golf and playing video poker in her spare time.She is survived by her husband Robert; step grandson, Evan Coats, as well as brothers and sisters in law, an uncle, other relatives and friends. Barb was preceded in death by an infant daughter Marie and her son Todd. Funeral services for Barb will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church, 1501 Erie Street on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Private interment will take place in Graceland Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Monday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of services. Memorials to Racine Lutheran High School or St. John's Lutheran Church have been suggested.
