Audrey Hanawalt Racine- Audrey Hanawalt, 90, passed away at Hospice Alliance Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie. Audrey was born in Unity, WI on November 16, 1917 to James and Beulah (nee: Wicks) Hanawalt. She was employed by as a credit manager at Webster Electric for over 40 years retiring in 1977. Audrey enjoyed traveling to Chicago, Seattle and New Orleans. She also liked going to the Kentucky Derby, reading, and spending time with her family. Audrey is survived by her many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Harold Moe; sisters, Ardis (Harold) Ellis, Jeanne (Lorence) Dosemagen; stepsisters and stepbrother, Helen (Clarence) Moe Underwood, Ruth (Howard) Gename, and Newton (Helen) Moe. According to Audrey's wishes private services will be held. Memorials to the Racine Zoo have been suggested.
