Arthur E. Schweinert Racine - Arthur E. Schweinert, 79, passed away at Highland Heights Healthcare Center in Milwaukee on Saturday, December 22, 2007. Arthur was born in Lithuania on August 25, 1928 to Emil and Anna (nee, Kropat) Schweinert. He married the former Katharina Baumgartner in Lebenstedt, Germany on October 15, 1949. Arthur was employed by Milwaukee Cylinder for over 27 years, retiring in 1992. He was a longtime member of the Jehovah's Witnesses. Arthur loved his children and grandchildren very much. Arthur is survived by his loving wife, Katharina Schweinert; children, Edwin (Denise) Schweinert of Mesa, AZ, Arnika (Mark) Michelli, Monika King, both of Racine, Anita (Ken) Klei of East Troy and Rosemary (Eric) Scheeder of Racine; and 13 grandchildren. Arthur is also survived by other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Hubert Schweinert; brothers, Gustave and Oskar Schweinert and two sisters-in-law, Erika and Ada Schweinert. A Memorial service will be held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 6767 Hwy 38, on Thursday December 27, 2007 at 11 a.m. with David Newton officiating.
