Arlen K. Flick Racine – Arlen K. Flick, 74, passed away at his home on Thursday, April 15, 2010. Arlie was born in Fairchild, WI on May 8, 1935 to Harold and Louise (nee, Olson) Flick. He married the former Colleen V. Hein on June 23, 1956. Arlie served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He retired from J.I. Case Company in 1990 after more than 33 years. Arlie loved working on his cabin in Osseo, but most of all he loved spending time with his sons hunting. He also loved gardening. Arlie is survived by his wife, Colleen V. Flick; sons, Keith (Ann) Flick of Racine, Jeffrey Flick of Cadott, Mark Flick of Racine, Jon (Kathy) Flick and Chad Flick both of Racine; grandchildren, Seth (Melinda) Flick of Rochester, MN, Lindy Flick, Jayce Flick, Haley (Justin) Flick all of Racine, Joshua (Courtney) Flick of Cadott, ShaiAnn (Joshua) Howard, Kyle Flick, Brianna Flick, Jess Flick, Kevin Flick, Sean Flick and Chelsea Flick all of Racine; and nine great-grandchildren. Arlie is also survived by other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Jacob Flick; and brother, Harold Flick. Funeral services for Arlie will be held at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 3350 LaSalle Street, on Sunday, April 18, 2010 at 4 p.m. with Rev. Hilbert Kamps officiating. Interment will take place in Hillcrest Cemetery in Fairchild, WI. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Sunday afternoon from 2 p.m. until the time of services. Memorials may be directed to Christ the King Lutheran Church. The family would like to extend special thanks to all of Arlie's medical caregivers, especially East Side Dialysis Unit, and an extra heartfelt thank you to his son, Chad for all of the compassionate care and support.
