Racine – Anthony J. Knurowski, 75, passed away at St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee on Sunday, October 13, 2013. Tony was born in Abrams, WI on March 6, 1938 to Albert and Anna (nee, Predayna) Knurowski. He married the former Ruth Ann Nowak, celebrating fifty-three years of marriage. Tony is survived by his wife, Ruth Ann Knurowski; beloved father of James (Anne) Knurowski, Diane Krogh-Knurowski, Michelle (Burt) Beegle-Knurowski and Kim Hauke; loving grandpa of, Josh, Katie, Kyle, Michael, Myah, Matthew and Jaeda; brother, Eddie Knurowski; and sister, Theresa (William) Resch. Tony is further loved by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother and two sisters-in-law, Walter and Delphine Knurowski, and Patricia Knurowski. A Mass for Tony will be held at St. Rita Parish, 4339 Douglas Avenue, on Friday, October 18, 2013 at 12 noon, celebrated by Rev. Kevin Mullins, O.S.A. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Friday afternoon from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. with a Eulogy being held at 3:30 p.m.
