Mesa, AZ – Anthony L. "Tony' Harris, 49, passed away at St. Luke's Hospital in Phoenix, AZ on Tuesday, July 9, 2013. Tony was born in Racine on May 3, 1964 to Joe L. Harris and Zonia (nee, Wilson) Harris. Tony was a trusting, goodhearted person. Survivors include his father and step-mother, Joe and Lynn Harris; children, Tori Harris and Anthony Harris, Jr.; four grandchildren; and sisters, Brooke Harris Paige (Roberto) Ramirez and Candice Matt; and special aunt and uncle, Letha and Sylvester Harris. Tony is also survived by many nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Zonia Harris; and his brother, Joseph L. Harris, III. A service of remembrance will be held at the funeral home on Monday, July 15, 2013 at 12 noon. A private inurnment will take place at Graceland Cemetery at a later date. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Monday morning from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
