Anthony 'Tuddy' DeMark Burlington - Anthony 'Tuddy' DeMark, 94, passed away at Burlington Memorial Hospital on Monday, March 12, 2007. Tuddy was born in Racine on September 4, 1912 to Nicholas and Theresa DeMark. He married the former Jeanette DeRose. She preceded him in death on January 10, 1998. Tuddy was owner of Tony & Steve's Bar on High Street. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was also a member of Roma Lodge where he enjoyed his many years playing in the Bocce League. Tuddy was an avid golfer at Johnson Park, where on September 27, 1982 he became a member of the Northwestern Hole-in-one Club. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Renee (John) Saffran; three grandchildren, James Saffran, Michele (Edward) Kirchoff and John (Kimberly) Saffran; and 5 great-grandchildren, Allison, Eddie, Jackson, Jonah and Robbie. The Mass of Christian Burial for Tuddy will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2201 Northwestern Avenue, on Friday, March 16, 2007 at 10 a.m. celebrated by Rev. Ronald O. Crewe. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Friday morning from 8:30 am until the time of Mass.
