Anne M. Huber, 79, passed away at her home on Monday, April 20, 2026.
Anne was born in Germany on April 15, 1947, to Mathias and Therezija (Mosbrucker) Huber. She moved to Wind Lake as a young child and attended school in the Milwaukee area. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree from UW Parkside. Anne was employed at Wisconsin Gas and Wisconsin Electric. She married Stephen Merrill in 2002. Together they traveled extensively. Anne and Stephen owned and operated Sheepish on Main Street for 19 years. Anne was a woman of many talents. She was a self-published author, photographer, artist and gardener. Anne was known for her kind heart.
She is survived by her husband Stephen Merrill, stepchildren, stepchildren, David , Sandra and Ben Merrill and step grandchildren Zachary Woodhouse and Elise and Elliot Merrill and step great grandchild Rowan Woodhouse. Anne is survived by other relatives and numerous friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Hilde.
