Racine – Anna Mae Lakatos, nee, Post, 87, passed away at her home on Tuesday, October 14, 2014. Anna Mae was born in Racine on July 15, 1927 to Jacob and Sadie (Vanderleest) Post. She married Joseph S. Lakatos, Sr. on January 3, 1948. He preceded her in death on September 16, 2005. Anna Mae was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church where she volunteered with the church hospitality. She also volunteered at the St. Mary's Medical Center Gift Shop. Survivors include her children, Joseph S. (Barb) Lakatos, Jr., Diane (John) Blaha and John (Diana) Lakatos; grandchildren, Michael (Cindy) Lakatos, Michele (Joel) Roub, Steven (Carrie) Lakatos, Stacy (Erick) Ortiz, Lindsey (Jason) Johnson and Lauren Blaha; eight great grandchildren; and sister, Clarice Bossert. Anna Mae is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorial services for Anna Mae will be held at the funeral home on Monday, October 20, 2014 at 6 p.m. Entombment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Monday evening from 5 p.m. until the time of the service at 6 p.m.
