RACINE – Ann Marie Danoski, nee, Habetler, 95, passed away at Kenosha Senior Living on Monday, August 17, 2015. Ann was born in Racine on March 1, 1920 and had been a lifelong resident. She graduated from Horlick High School, Class of 1938. On January 10, 1942, Ann married Dominik Danoski. He preceded her in death on April 4, 1985. Ann retired from Kohl's on Douglas Avenue, where she had been the Bakery Manager for over 18 years. Survivors include her daughters, Kathleen (James) Talsma and Debra (Kerry Fraser) Danoski; her sister, Mary Ann Cikel; and brother, Joseph Habetler. Ann is also survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, John Danoski; sister, Pauline Mittl; brothers, Peter Habetler and Frank Habetler; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Funeral services for Ann will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 1 p.m. with Fr. Steve Varghese officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Thursday from 12 noon until the time of the service at 1 p.m. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Kenosha Senior Living, especially, Mary, Audrey, Rikkia and Felix for all of their compassionate care provided to our mother.
