Obituary
Angeline was born in Racine on January 14, 1932, to Daniel and Angela D'Acquisto. She married Frank Marano on August 11, 1951, at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church. He preceded her in death in 1975. Angie worked for Western Publishing for over 30 years, retiring in 1994. She was a giving and selfless woman, always being available for others. If she knew you were coming for a visit, she had an itinerary of meals planned. Angie loved to cook and bake for others especially her spaghetti and chocolate cake. Angie crocheted to donate to the church and various charities. Most importantly she was extremely proud of her family and cherished the time spent together.
Angie is survived by her children, Sal (Micki) Marano of Roseville, CA, Cyndie Marano, Angela Marano and Frank (Dawn) Marano, 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and sister Beatrice Welz. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Angie was preceded in death by her parents and brothers and sisters Tony, Ada, Gracie, Sam, Josie and Joe.
Funeral Mass for Angie will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Parish, 6400 Spring Street on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 11:00. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Private entombment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy. 32. Memorials to one's favorite charity have been suggested.
