Obituary
Angel was born in Piedras Negras, Mexico on July 2, 1932. He married Irma Martinez on December 29, 1956. She preceded him in death on June 30, 2018. Angel was employed at Racine Steel until his retirement and then at Walmart. He liked watching baseball, especially the Chicago Cubs and gambling. Angel was always whistling some tune. He enjoyed being at home spending time in his yard.
Angel is survived by his children Juanita Rodriguez and Angel Montelongo, Jr., grandchildren Arturo, Esmeralda, Andres, Alberto and Augustine (Athena) Rodriguez, 14 great grandchildren and sister Marta Ponce. He is also survived by other relatives and friends. Angel was preceded in death by 4 brothers.
Funeral Mass for Angel will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Parish, 1100 Erie Street, on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Wednesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
