Alice M. KrenzkeRacine- Alice M. Krenzke, 89, passed away at Zilber Family Hospice in Wauwatosa on Sunday, January 27, 2008. Alice was born in Racine on July 22, 1918 to Christian Daniel and Clara (nee; Poulson) Hahn. She attended school in Racine and graduated with a teaching degree from Whitewater College in 1940. Alice married Richard Krenzke on June 14, 1947. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, where she volunteered in the thrift shop. Alice was also a member of Delta Sigma Epsilon Sorority and the Literacy Council.She is survived by her loving husband, Richard; children, Christian (Lois) Krenzke and Susan (Dr. Patrick) Krzyzewski; and grandchildren, Kate Krenzke, Christine, Sean, and Mary Krzyzewski. Alice is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.A memorial service for Alice will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, January 31, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Daniel Quinn. Private family interment will take place. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Memorials to Lutheran High School have been suggested.
