RACINE – Alberta L. Greider, 80, passed away at Ascension All Saints Hospital on Tuesday, April 14, 2020. Alberta was born on July 14, 1939 in Mercer, WI to Clarence and Joyce Olson. On December 2, 1967, she was united in marriage to Paul L. Greider in Dubuque, IA. Alberta was employed as a church secretary for Holy Cross Lutheran Church for many years. She enjoyed bowling, going to church, spending time with her friends at Lake Oaks Senior Community, and most of all spending time with her family. Alberta was loved by so many and will be deeply missed. Survivors include her children, Don "Skip" Rasmussen, Hope (Sulo) Mackey, Renae (Jeff) Herr, Shirley (Keith) McKenzie, Rebecca Greider, Michael Greider, Benjamin (Amanda) Greider, Sr. and Christian (Nicole) Greider; step children, Paul (Joan) Greider, Jr., Jean Kirkeby, William (Leanna) Greider; many grandchildren; great grandchildren: great great grandchildren; and her brother, Robert Olson. Alberta was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Joyce Olson, husband Paul L. Greider, and her sister, Roseann "Cookie" Nelson. A private family service for Alberta has taken place with interment taking place at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
