Adam Nikolic, passed away at Ascension Spring Street Campus on Tuesday, June 10, 2025.
Adam was born in Bogalinac, Serbia on August 22, 1942, to Radovan and Jovanka (nee: Ilic) Nikolic. He immigrated to the United States in 1977. Adam married Milosija Ivanic in Serbia in 1968 celebrating 57 years of marriage. He was employed at Gen-Tech from 1977 until his retirement in 2002. Adam was an active member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, serving as the Church president for 8 years. He spent a great deal of time volunteering at church. Adam was devoted to his family and spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed trips to Serbia to visit relatives and friends. Adam was a master at pig roasting.
He is survived by his wife Milosija , son and daughter-in-law Dejan and Laurie Nikolic, daughter and son-in-law Drinka and Srdjan Marinkovic, grandchildren Sofia, Katarina and Isabella Nikolic and Strahinja, Rastko and Teodora Marinkovic and sister Stanica Radojkovic. Adam is further survived by other relatives and friends in both the United States and Serbia. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings Milan, Milca and Milena.
Visitation for Adam will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 17 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Mali Pomen will follow at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, 826 State Street at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will follow in New Gracanica Monastery Cemetery.
